I know...it has been a while

Goodness..more than a month since my last blog...it has been so crazy busy! And you know the old addage- If you can't say anything nice- well maybe that is why I havent posted in so long:-) The last month has been crazy...bot h good and bad. Thanksgiving was FULL of family- and only some drama~ thursday we had family dinner and dessert with a total of 26 and then we drove to OKC on friday for dad's "not 60" birthday party (mom cant add:-) where we had another 25. We are officially into our new house. I am totally loving it, but it is very trying to be doing all of my normal busyness, have the sickies going through the house and trying to paint and unpack the house! Throw in holidays and whew! I have also been very stressed about finances. Moving into the house cost us more than double what we thought and all of the "little incidentals" that come along ate all of our savings AND put us behind in our budget. Will be a VERY tiny christmas for us.... had a bit of a cry and then felt horrible that I was even feeling sad... We are so blessed... we have food in the panrty, a beautiful new roof over our heads and heat and warm blankets...we are so far ahead of 95% of this world! who cares if after paying all of our bills we only have $37! The point is we have money left over, and so many families would give anything to be able to oay their bills and have ANYTHING left over. I know there are millions of women out there who would do anything to have a wonderful caring husband by their sides. I know there are a million Moms out there who no longer have their children with them and would give anything to snuggle them just one more time. And I know that even though our family is crazy- there are so many out there, especially at this time of year, who would give anything to hear a knock at the door and have it be their mom. We are so very lucky and blessed! And right now- both my boys are sleeping...meaning I am doubly blessed!:-)..OK.. I am going to get off my soapbox and go unpack a few more boxes so christie can win her bet that we will be completely unpacked by christmas...dont worry christie...it is looking good for you!:-)
